The large farmhouse was part of the original prosperous farm that was built to provide food for the local community and small medieval monastery that was also onsite. The property is tastefully decorated and recently refurbished to offer a combination of modern boutique and medieval charm. The living room has its original 15th C flagstone flooring, and the 12inch thick walls built from original wattle & Daub construction, having lasted over 650 years. It has a large Ingle nock fireplace, complete with 16th C bread oven and wood burner. It also has a large flat screen TV and DVD player
The farm house kitchen has a hand built oak units and granite working surfaces, in the middle it has a large 18th C pine table and is fully equipped to cook and service full dinner for up to 12 guests. It has microwave, fridge freezer, oven, dish washer and washer dryer. French windows open out onto the private garden/ patio and the views.

The bedrooms all have en- suite bathrooms and there is a downstairs twin bedroom with bathroom facilities that are suitable for less able guests.
